The EF Lens Controller (EFLC) is a USB powered lens controller compatible with Canon EF series lenses.

The CLC-USB controller allows serial control of both focus and aperture and is available in optical modules for the illunis EMC family of cameras. The EFLC can also be controlled remotely via Wi-Fi with either a Dial-LC controller or by a webpage on a Wi-Fi network generated by the EFLC itself (Wi-Fi communication can be enabled or disabled via commands. If necessary, the wireless antenna can be excluded from the device if requested).
The EF Lens Controller is available for EMC series of cameras, M58 Mount, C-Mount, and as a OEM “Core” puck version that can be adapted to other mounting types. Licensing and OEM versions are also available.

Note: Given the lack of standardization as to where the thread is cut on the camera’s body, M58 and C-Mount orientation to the camera body cannot be fully controlled. It is possible to adjust controller orientation by 45 degree increments via remounting the core puck to the controller base. The lack of fine controller may impact the image area of certain lenses that feature light shields towards the rear of the lens which restrict the image area from a circular to a square format.
